Planning a Brief Hiatus

I think I’ve taken on one too many projects at the moment. I mean, work and family alone take up almost all my time at the moment, so it’s kind of amazing that I fit in this random tax blog anyway. But now I’m trying to finish a few other projects, and it’s getting to be a little too much at the moment.

So rather than stress out that I’m not updating Creatively Accounting, I’m going to take a brief hiatus. We’re talking a month. So if you miss the tax posts, come back in December and see them start flowing again.

I might still post a time or two if I see something really good, I just won’t be doing my Monday Wednesday Friday routine during the month of November.

If you’re curious, the project that finally put me over the edge is NaNoWriMo. I’ve had this random kids novel floating in my head for about a year now, and I figured now was as good a time as any to try it out. Plus I’m overly excited to try out Scrivener. Which makes no sense, even to me.

I’ll still post a time or two over at my personal blog if you want to follow that.

Finally, since it’s Halloween, I had this great idea to post pictures of people dressed up as accountants. But when I searched for stuff I could legally share without getting into copyright issues, this is all I could find:

the accountant

I am so disappointed with the world right now.
